- We Try to Share the Love: We'd love to offer everything for free. But the reality is our products and services have real hard (phrasing again) costs to them. So unfortunately we have to charge membership fees for certain features. That said, we monitor member ROI very closely, and feel good about our pricing if we can offer folks a 10-15x ROI (with many far exceeding this range) as a result of the savings they achieve
- Responsible Consumption: At this point in time it seems pretty clear that drinking a sh-tload of whisky is not good for you. Like, really bad. So this is arguably one of the most important values. We're all about quality over quantity, and maximizing the enjoyment and appreciation of each sip. That's kind of the core of this entire product. So if we ever get the sense that this site is enabling alcoholism or fostering bad habits, it's getting taken down. Please, please, please: enjoy whisky responsibly. Sorry for the minor soapbox here, but it's just important
