18 Year Old Rye image
Sazerac 18 Year Old Rye
The famed Sazerac Coffee House was founded in New Orleans in 1850 and soon became known as the home of “America's First Cocktail,” the Sazerac. Using rye whiskey (in place of French brandy), a dash of Peychaud's Bitters, and Herbsaint, what eventually became the official cocktail of New Orleans was created. This straight rye has a mellow spice and dry sweetness that dances on the tongue, giving pure delight that is worthy of the Sazerac name.

WhistlePig Boss Hog X: The Commandments
WhistlePig The Boss Hog X: The Ten Commandments is a complex, barrel-proof rye whiskey with an initial aging in new American oak followed by a double finish in experimental spirit and craft mead casks. It presents aromas of dark chocolate, vanilla, and spices with a full-bodied palate offering flavors of caramel, rye spice, and black cherry, complemented by notes of cinnamon, clove, and a subtle smoky essence from the resin barrel finish. The final mead cask finish lends a long, warm, slightly earthy finish with lingering spice and hints of herbal sweetness and floral honey.
