Pendleton Whisky 1910 Rye 12 Year Old
Pendleton 1910 is a rare 100% rye whisky distilled in Canada and is oak-barrel aged a minimum of 12 years. Featuring round, rich notes of tobacco, charred oak and butterscotch with a spicy rye kick and peppery heat, Pendleton 1910 Rye Whisky is rounded out by the smoothness of maple and sweet cherry to provide a weighty and balanced, yet complex, flavor profile. The 1910 name pays homage to the year of the first-ever Pendleton Round-Up and comes packaged in an iconic 750ml bottle with unique and intricately embossed detailing reminiscent of tooling on a saddle and features the famous Pendleton Round-Up bucking horse. It is a work of art sure to be a favorite in any connoisseur's spirits collection.

Part of the  Brown-Forman family of brands.
Note: A very small quantity of whiskies came from this single barrel, so taste variability is higher than with larger production whiskies. Many times this is not a big deal (i.e. Blanton's), but sometimes it matters (i.e. Larceny Barrel Proof versions). If the specific barrel is not listed, ask your server or a store employee for more info.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Sweet brown sugar, toasted oak, and hints of dark spice, with some variations including banana, vanilla wafer, and even marshmallow notes.
Palate: Viscous mouthfeel with sweet banana nut bread, caramel, and a noticeable warmth from the high proof, balanced by a touch of cherry and oak.
Finish: Lingering banana and oak, with the sweetness giving way to a more pronounced oak and spice, sometimes described as burnt or charred.
