High West Rendezvous Rye
There's a first time for everything. From the first snowfall of the year to your first camping trip, there's something truly visceral, and dare we say, magical about the first time. Rendezvous Rye is our first whiskey and thus named after the "Rendezvous," the first recorded whiskey fest out west, and 1820's mountain man gathering in Wyoming and Utah's cache valley that turned whiskey into the first of endless possibilities. We blend Rendezvous from straight rye whiskeys with high rye mash bills that give it a unique botanical & spice character, with notes of honey, mint, molasses, and dried fruit for good measure. Rendezvous is not chill filtered, a unique choice that keeps its natural oils intact and allows for a full-bodied finish.

Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Proof
Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Barrel Proof is a high-proof Tennessee whiskey bottled straight from the barrel, resulting in a bold and intense flavor experience. It features the classic Jack Daniel's notes of vanilla and toasted oak, intensified by the higher proof, and is complemented by sweet brown sugar and hints of dark spice. The whiskey is bottled at its full barrel proof, ranging from 125 to 140 proof, and offers a smooth, aromatic experience.

Note: A very small quantity of whiskies came from this single barrel, so taste variability is higher than with larger production whiskies. Many times this is not a big deal (i.e. Blanton's), but sometimes it matters (i.e. Larceny Barrel Proof versions). If the specific barrel is not listed, ask your server or a store employee for more info.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Sweet brown sugar, toasted oak, and hints of dark spice, with some variations including banana, vanilla wafer, and even marshmallow notes.
Palate: Viscous mouthfeel with sweet banana nut bread, caramel, and a noticeable warmth from the high proof, balanced by a touch of cherry and oak.
Finish: Lingering banana and oak, with the sweetness giving way to a more pronounced oak and spice, sometimes described as burnt or charred.
