Nose: The nose is quite complex and well-balanced. There are notes of crème anglaise and butterscotch, mixed dried peels and nuts, a hint of aniseed and lovely cereal sweetness.
Palate: The palate is full and thick with fruit. There are notes of vanilla fudge and honey, smooth caramel, plenty of rye and warm oak.
Finish: The finish is of good length with a touch of toasty oak spice.

Jim Beam Devil's Cut Bourbon
After the barrels are emptied, a small portion of the liquid remains trapped inside. This "Devil's Cut", as the folks at Jim Beam call it, is extracted using a proprietary process, then blended with 6-year-old Kentucky straight bourbon and bottled at 90 proof, creating Jim Beam Devil's Cut Whiskey.
