W.L. Weller Single Barrel
William Larue Weller, born in 1825, spent most of his life educating the public on his first-of-its-kind bourbon recipe using wheat in the mash bill. Weller's gentle, mild and smooth sipping experience changed whiskey as we know it. Handpicked and bottled one exceptional barrel at a time, this special release is bourbon to be savored. Delivering nuanced variations from the ageing process. For the refined bourbon palate, no two barrels are quite the same. Expect distinct, full-bodied flavor in the celebrated tradition of Weller's wheated bourbon.

Part of the  The Sazerac Company family of brands.
Note: A very small quantity of whiskies came from this single barrel, so taste variability is higher than with larger production whiskies. Many times this is not a big deal (i.e. Blanton's), but sometimes it matters (i.e. Larceny Barrel Proof versions). If the specific barrel is not listed, ask your server or a store employee for more info.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Nose of cherry and mint, fading to vanilla.
Palate: Caramel and baking spices with hints of cocoa explode on the palate.
Finish: A finish of cinnamon, coffee, and a hint of pepper.
Booker's Ronnie's Batch (2022-01)
The batch is made up of four production dates that were aged in five different warehouses. The breakdown of barrel storage for Booker's “Ronnie's Batch” is as follows: 4% came from the 3rd floor of 7-story warehouse 5, 7% came from the 4th floor of 9-story warehouse D, 15% came from the 5th floor of 7-story warehouse 1, 26% came from the 5th floor of 7-story warehouse Q, 48% came from the 5th floor of 7-story warehouse Z. This batch has a nice color and a rich vanilla aroma with hints of brown spice that you can enjoy even before your first sip. The whiskey has a sweet taste that comes from the time spent aging in our unique Kentucky climate. It was a brisk, cold day when I selected this batch, but the warm and pleasant finish make it an ideal pour as we leave behind these cooler months. I know my father would be so proud to name this batch after Ronnie, as he was sure to make Booker's just like Dad wanted.
