Crafted from a combination of unpeated and peated spirit and three cask matured for at least twelve years in bourbon barrels, sherry casks, and Marsala wine casks. The actor is known for his role as Ron Swanson in the sitcom Parks and Recreation, where the character was enamored with Lagavulin single malt whisky. Lagavulin 11 Year Old Offerman Edition Double Charred Islay Single Malt Scotch is the 3rd limited release that stems from that partnership. Crafted as a perfect companion to a delicious steak, the whisky spent more than 11 years in heavily charred ex-bourbon and red wine casks before being bottled at 92 proof. It's an intensely peaty Scotch with notes of berries, brine, and vanilla.
