Straight Rye Whiskey image
E.H. Taylor Straight Rye Whiskey
Straight Rye Whiskey has experienced a strong resurgence in the American whiskey landscape, yet Colonel Edmund Haynes Taylor, Jr. was making this style more than 100 years ago. This small batch, Bottled-in-Bond 100 proof straight rye whiskey pays tribute to the former Distillery owner with a unique rye whiskey reminiscent of days long past.

Independently Owned
Note: A very small quantity of whiskies came from this single barrel, so taste variability is higher than with larger production whiskies. Many times this is not a big deal (i.e. Blanton's), but sometimes it matters (i.e. Larceny Barrel Proof versions). If the specific barrel is not listed, ask your server or a store employee for more info.
Tasting Notes
Nose: A bold nose of rye grain, spices, summer fruits, and brown butter.
Palate: The palate brings sweet summer fruit flavors balanced with rye spice.
Finish: The finish is warm with black pepper, oak, and rye grain.
