10 Year Old Barrel Proof High Rye Bourbon image
Redemption 10 Year Old Barrel Proof High Rye Bourbon
Our award-winning 10-Year-Old High Rye Bourbon is almost as stunning to look at as it is to drink. Dark gold with flecks of crimson, it's a warm invitation to a unique whiskey experience. While bottled at barrel proof, you'll find it remains impressively smooth throughout.

Tasting Notes
Nose: Rich vanilla oak with hints of aged balsamic and violets.
Palate: Toffee, honey and roasted nut flavors dominate, layered atop a spicy rye backbone.
Finish: Moderately drying with rich allspice and dill bass notes.
New Riff Single Barrel Bourbon
New Riff Distilling's core Bourbon expression is a genuinely high-rye, full-bodied whiskey offering savory, spicy character, bottled at Barrel Proof without Chill Filtration. Featuring a mash bill of non-GMO grains at 65% corn, 30% rye, and 5% malted barley, it represents a new riff on Kentucky's most hallowed whiskey traditions. Aged four years in 53-gallon toasted and charred new oak barrels, there are no shortcuts taken in our production. All New Riff whiskeys are made with the full sour mash Kentucky Regimen; all carry an age statement and are always bottled without chill filtration.

Independently Owned
Note: A very small quantity of whiskies came from this single barrel, so taste variability is higher than with larger production whiskies. Many times this is not a big deal (i.e. Blanton's), but sometimes it matters (i.e. Larceny Barrel Proof versions). If the specific barrel is not listed, ask your server or a store employee for more info.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Butterscotch rounding into fresh oak, with hints of vanilla and rye spice.
Palate: Broad, fulsome mouthfeel, leading to a sweeter vanilla accent, before a gathering of rye spices (clove, cinnamon, mint, dark berry) into the finish.
Finish: Long, rye-led finish, with brambly red-black fruits amid white pepper and clove.
