Compass Box Spice Tree
A long time ago, we created a rich, bold Scotch whisky called The Spice Tree. Unfortunately, due to its avant garde method of oak-aging, we were compelled by the powers that be to discontinue production. Undeterred, we worked with our cooper friends in both France and Scotland to develop a new, hybrid oak cask that would allow us to achieve similar results, but in a way that would be acceptable to even the most conservative of observers. Et voila, THE SPICE TREE was resurrected- matured using a custom-made cask with French oak for the heads and American oak for the bodies.

Tasting Notes
Nose: Aroma of ginger, cinnamon and clove.
Palate: Bold notes of vanilla, malt, and brown sugar, along with a hint of dried fruits.
Finish: Satisfying finish is long and well-balanced between sweet notes of vanilla and spicy notes of cinnamon and allspice.
Grant's 12 Year Old - Triple Wood
Many whiskies take their flavour from just one cask, but we mature Grant's Triple Wood 12 in three different types of wood: Sherry cask provides sweet spice robustness, American Oak lends subtle vanilla smoothness and Bourbon refill offers brown sugar sweetness, resulting in a rich, complex, vanilla taste.
