50 Year Old Winchester 1966 image
The Glenlivet 50 Year Old Winchester 1966
In 1966, former Master Distiller Robert Arthur distilled a run of particularly outstanding spirit. For five decades, our dedicated Master Distillers continuously monitored this exclusive whisky as it slowly aged at The Glenlivet distillery. Over 50 years, this precious spirit became imbued with increasing depth and complexity, soaking up flavor and a sense of history in equal measure. Now, at the peak of its maturation, Master Distiller Alan Winchester has released just 100 bottles of this rare single malt. Crafted over generations, it is a tribute to George Smith, who created the original single malt that set the standard in taste and quality. Vintage 1966 is the second edition of The Winchester Collection. Released over a number of years, The Winchester Collection of 50-year-old single malts is set to become one of the most sought-after and priceless whisky collections.

Highland Park 40 Year Old
Rich and beautifully balanced, deep and aromatic, and infused with a delicate sweetness, this truly exceptional 40 Year Old single malt whisky is the product of just five refill casks originally laid down before 1979. These casks were brought together in 2008 and filled into first-fill sherry seasoned American oak casks to intensify the maturing whisky's flavour over a further 10 years of maturation. The refill casks that originally held this whisky are ideal for a long, slow maturation while the first-fill sherry seasoned casks in which the whisky completed its maturation, bring a depth of character and nutty, fruit-filled notes of sherry to the fore.
