Barley Edition image
Crown Royal Barley Edition
Crown Royal takes its name from the historic event that took place in 1939 when King George VI and Queen Elizabeth became the first reigning monarchs to journey across North America. At the time, a Canadian entrepreneur crafted a special whisky so that the King and Queen could enjoy it in their private rail car. Today, they craft their whisky in Gimli, Manitoba, using the finest Canadian ingredients. The Noble Collection is a series of whisky that pays tribute to the brand's history and roots, namely the part that King George VI played in the creation of the whiskey. Crown Royal Barley Edition is the 7th and final release in the series. It's a premium blended Canadian whisky that was distilled from the finest barley, matured for at least 10 years, and bottled at 90 proof. The signature Crown Royal smoothness is there, along with toasted oak, malt, barley, and vanilla, leading to a pleasantly warming finish.

Spot Whiskey Green Spot - Chateau Leoville Barton
Green Spot Château Léoville Barton represents the coming together of two historic families, two stories of Irish endeavour and enterprise who together are the inspiration for this special edition whiskey. Our whiskey is finished in Château Léoville Barton French oak casks, the very casks that play a vital role in the wine's distinctive balance, bouquet and flavour, that we've used to bring something extra to our Green Spot Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey. Green Spot Château Léoville Barton has initially been matured in traditional sherry and bourbon casks, then finished in French oak wine casks from the renowned Château Léoville Barton, Bordeaux.

Tasting Notes
Nose: The French oak drives the initial aroma with crisp woodland notes added to the spicy Pot Still character. The wine seasoning brings a floral perfume and ripe berries to the archetypal orchard fruits.
Palate: The familiar mouth coating is a very satisfying balance of oak and spices. Some vanilla sweetness works in harmony with the dry orchard fruits and French oak, combining effortlessly with barley grains to complete the complexity.
Finish: For the finish, the rich French oak slowly fades leaving the wine & the spices of France & Ireland with the last word.
