Michter's 10 Year Old Bourbon
Aged for ten years, this single barrel bourbon was named the "Best American Whiskey" by Food & Wine Magazine. "It's on the spendy side for what it is, and it's pretty hard to lay your hands on, but if you're in need of a gift for your father-in-law, this is a home run." - The Whiskey Wash

Note: A very small quantity of whiskies came from this single barrel, so taste variability is higher than with larger production whiskies. Many times this is not a big deal (i.e. Blanton's), but sometimes it matters (i.e. Larceny Barrel Proof versions). If the specific barrel is not listed, ask your server or a store employee for more info.
Tasting Notes
Nose: An aroma of espresso, toffee, caramel, and whipped cream.
Palate: Notes of spices predominate on the palate, and are complemented by touches of maple syrup and vanilla.
Finish: The finish is medium-long, with touches of tobacco, old leather and figs.
Jack Daniel's Old No. 7
Mellowed drop by drop through 10-feet of sugar maple charcoal, then matured in handcrafted barrels of our own making. And our Tennessee Whiskey doesn't follow a calendar. It's only ready when our tasters say it is. We judge it by the way it looks. By its aroma. And of course, by the way it tastes. It's how Jack Daniel himself did it over a century ago. And how we still do it today.
