Superior Recipe No. 12 image
George Dickel Superior Recipe No. 12
Our 90-proof Tennessee Whisky. We blend older whiskies to achieve deep, assertive flavors with an incredibly smooth finish. Bold and brazen, this is our Recipe No. 12. Concentrated flavors of rich oak and subtle vanilla lead to a long finish with hints of maple, butter and smoke. A whisky with enormous depth, range and personality- considered by many to be the gold standard of Tennessee Whisky.

Jim Beam Single Barrel

Note: A very small quantity of whiskies came from this single barrel, so taste variability is higher than with larger production whiskies. Many times this is not a big deal (i.e. Blanton's), but sometimes it matters (i.e. Larceny Barrel Proof versions). If the specific barrel is not listed, ask your server or a store employee for more info.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Apple pie and rye spices, with buttery corn and oaky vanilla.
Palate: Oak char leads into creamy vanilla, brown sugar, burnt caramel and peppery spice.
Finish: Hints of dried apricot, toasty oak and baking spices.
