Note: A very small quantity of whiskies came from this single barrel, so taste variability is higher than with larger production whiskies. Many times this is not a big deal (i.e. Blanton's), but sometimes it matters (i.e. Larceny Barrel Proof versions). Wilderness Trail 6 Year Old Bourbon
Look for Wilderness Trail's wheated and rye Bourbon with a silver label and a “6” on the neck tag and on the vertical label. The silver label mashbill for the wheated Bourbon is 64% corn, 24% wheat and 12% barley. For the rye Bourbon, the difference is 24% rye instead of wheat. The 6-year is deeper in character and richer in flavors found in more mature Bourbons. We hope you enjoy all the deliciousness of our Bourbons with this age statement.

Nose: A fruity and sweet nose with orchard fruit, caramel, cinnamon, vanilla, pastry, and oak.
Palate: The palate features brown sugar, honey, vanilla, spice, citrus, and plenty of charred oak.
Finish: The finish has a touch of spice and black pepper.
