Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Proof
Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Barrel Proof is a high-proof Tennessee whiskey bottled straight from the barrel, resulting in a bold and intense flavor experience. It features the classic Jack Daniel's notes of vanilla and toasted oak, intensified by the higher proof, and is complemented by sweet brown sugar and hints of dark spice. The whiskey is bottled at its full barrel proof, ranging from 125 to 140 proof, and offers a smooth, aromatic experience.

Part of the  Brown-Forman family of brands.
Note: A very small quantity of whiskies came from this single barrel, so taste variability is higher than with larger production whiskies. Many times this is not a big deal (i.e. Blanton's), but sometimes it matters (i.e. Larceny Barrel Proof versions). If the specific barrel is not listed, ask your server or a store employee for more info.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Sweet brown sugar, toasted oak, and hints of dark spice, with some variations including banana, vanilla wafer, and even marshmallow notes.
Palate: Viscous mouthfeel with sweet banana nut bread, caramel, and a noticeable warmth from the high proof, balanced by a touch of cherry and oak.
Finish: Lingering banana and oak, with the sweetness giving way to a more pronounced oak and spice, sometimes described as burnt or charred.
Michter's Kentucky Straight Rye US*1
Michter's US*1 Single Barrel Straight Rye Whiskey is made from a mash comprised primarily of fresh, plump rye grains. Once the grains are harvested, they are sheared so that during fermentation, the grains are saturated with more flavor. After the grains have been fermented, they are distilled through a copper-pot still before being matured in charred, American oak barrels. The barrels are allowed to rest in a heat-cycled warehouse, which forces the wood to expand and contract as the temperature rises and falls. This heat cycling causes the whiskey and wood to mingle with each other, and contributes notes of marmalade and light caramel to the rye. Once Willie Pratt — Michter's Master Distiller — determines that the rye has reached its peak flavor, each bottle is filled and sealed by hand.
