After 10 years of perfecting our Cask Strength, we thought we should take a look back on our previous expressions. This bourbon, our 10th release, has tasting notes of toasted oak, vanilla, and leather.

Nose: Complex on the nose, with notes of peach and cherry accompanied by hints of brandy, tea and honey.
Palate: Notes of leather, toasted oak and vanilla carry into the palate, along with flavors of stone fruit and port that give way to creamy creme brulee and honey with nutty marzipan.
Finish: The finish features slight tannins and notes of black tea, apricot and smoke.

Note: A very small quantity of whiskies came from this single barrel, so taste variability is higher than with larger production whiskies. Many times this is not a big deal (i.e. Blanton's), but sometimes it matters (i.e. Larceny Barrel Proof versions). Nose: The nose brings notes of clove, vanilla, and old leather.
Palate: The flavor balances fruit, honey and vanilla with a light spiciness.
