Tasting Notes
Nose: A delicate bouquet of floral notes, orchard fruits, vanilla, and caramel is complemented by hints of cinnamon and brûléed sugar.
Palate: The palate offers a bourbon-inspired sweetness with vanilla, mint, and burnt demerara sugar, followed by richer flavors of fruit and wet oak.
Finish: The finish is medium-length and smooth, with a pleasing warmth that leaves a pleasant tannic note of black tea and a touch of orange bitterness.
Baker's Single Barrel 7 Year Old
Named for a truck-driving, motorcycle-riding, bourbon-loving, hardworking whiskey man, Baker's Single Barrel Bourbon is a singular experience. A big, bold bourbon that was created by one legend to honor another. Every drop of bourbon in a Baker's bottle comes from one single barrel. And once those bottles are gone, they're gone. Which means you'll discover layers of unique, subtle nuances in every bottle you pick up. That's what makes Baker's so special. Baker has always believed the ideal bourbon is made according to three fundamental rules: First, it's aged at least seven years because that's the sweet spot for getting big vanilla notes from the charred oak barrel. Second, a great bourbon carries substantial flavor. And third, when he tries it, he better like it. These rules might seem simple, but they make for one hell of a bourbon.

Note: A very small quantity of whiskies came from this single barrel, so taste variability is higher than with larger production whiskies. Many times this is not a big deal (i.e. Blanton's), but sometimes it matters (i.e. Larceny Barrel Proof versions). If the specific barrel is not listed, ask your server or a store employee for more info.
