Tamdhu Batch Strength
Tamdhu was born in 1897, on the banks of the River Spey. Now, as then, every drop is crafted with the same care- starting with water drawn from our own spring. While all Tamdhu matures exclusively in the finest Oloroso sherry casks, Tamdhu Batch Strength 006 goes further still. Each cask is meticulously hand-selected to create this one-of-a-kind release. Moreover, a high proportion of these casks are first-fill: the very best of the very best. This scarce wood bears two great gifts: colour and taste. The deep copper hue of Tamdhu Batch Strength 006 is developed by the cask, nothing more- and each drop owes its rich, complex taste to its Oloroso cask home. Finally, Batch Strength 006 is bottled un-chillfiltered at high strength. A magnificent Speyside Single Malt for the sherry wood connoisseur.

Tasting Notes
Nose: The fresh spiciness of oak, then roasted nuts and warming vanilla.
Palate: Summer berry pudding with creme anglais. A dash of water brings orange, lemon and even more oak spice.
Finish: Cinnamon spice swells, revealing a long farewell of citrus zest and ripe figs.
Tobermory (Ledaig Whiskies) 23 Year Old
The newest release in the Tobermory core range, this is an exquisite sherried malt, entwined with salted toffee and floral honey, finishing with caramelised walnuts and a subtle salty undercurrent. The 'return of an old friend', this spirit was originally our Tobermory 15 Year Old release. We left the whisky in its Oloroso casks for 8 more years to create this delicious 23 year old whisky. Like all our single malts, this whisky is non-chill filtered and natural colour.
