Concertmaster Port Cask Single Malt image
Kavalan Whisky Concertmaster Port Cask Single Malt
Kavalan Port Cask Single Malt, also known as the Concertmaster, is characterized by its rich, complex flavor profile, featuring a dominant tropical fruitiness, complemented by notes of honey, vanilla, coconut, and candy floss. The whisky's profile is enhanced by its aging in port casks, which adds a natural sweetness, red berry notes, and a pleasant, lingering finish with a touch of nutty, creamy dark chocolate and wood spices. The resulting brownish-red color reflects the influence of the ruby port barriques, contributing to its mellow, smooth texture and overall gourmand character.

Tasting Notes
Nose: The nose presents a vibrant, fruity aroma of dark and tropical fruits—including ripe plums, cherries, and mango—balanced with sweeter notes of vanilla, honey, and subtle hints of rich chocolate.
Palate: On the palate, a naturally sweet and rich body delivers complex layers of red fruit compote, toffee, and toasted almond, followed by a light malty character and a soft, dry port wine tannin.
Finish: The finish is long, elegant, and velvety, offering a lasting warmth with lingering notes of dark fruit, oak, and baking spices.
Craigellachie 13 Year Old
Craigellachie sits firm in the heart of Speyside, flat bang in the middle of Scotch territory. It obstinately stands alone on a rock overlooking the confluence of the rivers Fiddich and Spey. But rid your mind of that typical 'Speyside' flavour, for Craigellachie rebels against this.
