Triple Barrel Rye image
J.P. Wiser's Triple Barrel Rye
This unique blend has a rye-forward mashbill (although the exact percentage of rye in the blend isn't specified by the distillery) and combines three different distillates: a distillate from used Canadian whisky, first-fill bourbon, and virgin oak casks. The whisky has a good and well-balanced flavor that can very well stand on its own, but it's best in some simple mixes, such as with a splash of lemon and some Earl gray tea. It is bottled at a standard ABV of 43%.

Tasting Notes
Nose: On the nose, aromas of oak prevail, with subtle hints of vanilla, maple, rye, and leather.
Palate: The flavors are firm and robust, leading with notes of toffee, vanilla, brown sugar, baking spice, rye, cedar, wood spice, and chocolate.
Finish: The finish is smooth and long-lasting.
Woodford Reserve Rye Whiskey
Woodford Reserve Rye uses a pre-prohibition style ratio of 53% rye in its mash bill to pay homage to history's original rye whiskeys, making spice and tobacco the dominant note among a sea of fruit, floral, and sweet aromatics, which yields a nice sweetness and overall balance. Our rye whiskey can deliver complex flavors- neat, on ice, or in a cocktail. A balanced rye makes a more balanced cocktail.
